We are offering only telephone appointments at the moment and face to face appointments will be booked by the GPs only.

circled_dayRoutine appointments should be booked in advance with the doctor of your choice.  Appointments with the practice nurses should also be booked in advance.

Although you register with a specific doctor you are free to consult any of the doctors.  It is obviously an advantage to see the same doctor regularly for any one complaint so that progress can be assessed and continuity of treatment maintained.

Urgent Appointments

Urgent appointments are available for urgent medical problems, on the day. Our phone lines open at 8am in the morning for urgent morning appointments .

For Fridays we do not have any urgent appointments in the afternoon.

Extended Hours Surgery

An extended hours surgery is offered every Wednesday between 18:30 - 20:30 for commuters only.

Consultations and Prescriptions

Do not be surprised if your doctor does not give you a prescription.  Most common simple illnesses get better without any treatment at all. In particular antibiotics will not cure coughs, colds and flu, indeed they may make you feel worse.  The symptoms of common illnesses may be helped by simple remedies. Your local pharmacist will always be happy to advise.

Telephone Advice

Patients requiring medical advice over the telephone should ring the surgery at 8 am , the GPs will call the patients and if needed to see face to face then will give an appointment in the afternoon.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
