If the doctor has approved your long-term medication on a repeat prescription basis you can place orders in a number of ways:
- In person - hand your computer generated repeat slip into the surgery (or written request) with the required items clearly marked.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we will post it back to you.
- EPS- Nominate a pharmacy for EPS
We regret that in order to avoid mistakes over medication or dosage we are unable to accept requests over the telephone.
The easiest way to re-order your items is to register for Online Services. This will enable you to electronically submit your prescription requests as well as the extra benefits of booking appointments online, cancelling appointments and access to your medical records and information. For More information please speak to the surgery .
Repeat Prescriptions a short guide
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
